Best Christmas Present For These Grand Junction Dogs Is A New Home
One of the best Christmas gifts you could give this year might be to provide a new home for a homeless Grand Junction dog.
There are always homeless pets in need of a forever home with lots of love, attention, and happiness. But, happiness is a two-way street when it comes to pets. It seems like the more effort and attention we give to our pets, the happier they are and the more joy they return to us. If you need some joy in your life, a new dog might just be what you need.
The Roice-Hurst Humane Society is continually looking for loving homes for homeless pets in Grand Junction, and this week they are featuring three special dogs that would just love to have a new home this Christmas. These youngs dogs look absolutely adorable.
Kira
If you are interested in a puppy, check out Kira, a "lively" husky mix who needs a good home. She is a year and a half old, so she is very much in that puppy stage and learning to be a good girl. Kira loves attention and loves to play - and so with a little patience and training, she will make somebody a great companion.
Magnus
Magnus is another puppy that loves to be around people. He is a year-and-a-half old and is very playful. He loves to play, run, cuddle - and loves being brushed. Magnus knows how to "sit" and is learning "wait" and just needs more training. He prefers to be an only pet and would be best in a home with older children.
Zeus
Zeus is a young dog who loves to spend time with people going for walks, exploring the outdoors, and sitting on your lap. He needs someone that can continue to teach him good manners and is going to be best in a home with older kids. Zeus might be okay with another dog in the family, but would prefer to have a meeting with them first to make sure they will get along.
