Colorado Police Investigate Road Rage Fight Connected to Interstate Shooting

South Santa Fe Drive was closed Sunday night close to West Belleview Avenue because of a road rage fight gone wrong. The fight led a shooting in this area of Littleton.

Police responded to a call at approximately 6 p.m. because of a disturbance.

The disturbance? Two drivers from a newer BMW SUV and a gray pickup truck got into an escalated argument leading to someone in the truck to fire shots, according to police.

There were no injuries reported.

Authorities are investigating the connection between this shooting and shootings of several cars on Interstate 25 and U.S. 36 Sunday evening after 7 p.m.

Four people have been taken into custody.
