Rams Going Pro: Caeley Lordemann Signs Contract with North Carolina Courage

After making her professional debut in 2020 with Santa Teresa Club Deportivo, a Spanish professional team, former Colorado State soccer player Caeley Lordemann has signed a National Team Replacement Player contract with North Carolina Courage.

According to a press release from NC Courage, Lordemann trained with the Courage in March 2020 and signed the contract to play through the end of the year. She joins the team as Lynn Williams (USA), Sam Mewis (USA), Debinha (BRA), and Abby Erceg (NZL) are away internationally.

After starting her career in Nebraska playing for Creighton University, Lordemann transferred after her freshman year to CSU in 2017. In her time in the green and gold, Lordemann was a key component to the team's growth, development, and competitiveness. Lordemann helped lead the program to its first-ever Mountain West Soccer Championship Tournament appearance, and helped them notch their best record in program history in the same year.

In just three years at CSU, Lordemann finished her career for the Rams with five career records and 10 single season records. Among those records is career goals made with 19 total, and 11 of those came in her senior season. Also in her senior year, she led the CSU team in goals, points, shots, shots on goal, and game winning goals.

The North Carolina Courage are currently sitting fifth in the National Women's Soccer League. They will return to Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park against the Orlando Pride on Saturday, July 31.
