A Fort Collins woman is lucky to be unharmed after a confrontation with two moose while she was hiking near copper mountain.

Audrey Dickenson said she was at least 200 yards away from a moose when she first saw it, and began to back away. At that point she saw a second moose near the first one. "That's when they charged me and I hid behind a tree," Dickenson said.

Dickenson said when she would move or try to get away the moose would charge again. She had to go back and put the tree between her and the moose numerous times before the moose lost interest and she could get away.
