The annual Fruita Fall Festival is one of the biggest and best events in western Colorado and here are the five best things about Fruita's signature festival.

The Fruita Fall Festival is September 22-24 and if you have never attended the festival, you might as well make plans to be there. It's three big days of fun including a street dance, parade, live music, lots of food, vendors, carnival, and more.

Fruita Fall Festival marks the end of summer and the beginning of a new season on the western slope. It's a change that is worth celebrating.

The festival features some of the best local bands around like Jack + Jill, Williams Brothers, Lincoln Pants Band, Clyde and the Milltailers, Zolopht, Bicycle Annie, and others. But they also bring in some nationally known acts like Halfway to Hazard, Henhouse Prowlers, and Royal Bliss. Bring your chair and be prepared to be entertained. Oh, by the way, all of this great music is free!
