Six months into the COVID-19 pandemic, Colorado still ranks one of the strictest when it comes to restrictions, WalletHub reports.

The financial website ranked all 50 states and Washington D.C., comparing which have the least to the most restrictions in place, and Colorado landed pretty far down the list — at number 45. Back in May, Colorado was at 31 on the list, and crept up to 50 in July.

WalletHub used criteria like face mask requirements (mandatory in Colorado), travel and large gathering restrictions, in-person schooling, restaurant and business reopenings, temperature checks, contact tracing and more to ranks states across the U.S.

Fortunately, while in the  report's 'high restrictions' category, Colorado is also placed in the 'low death rate' category.

Just an hour north of us, our neighbors in Wyoming ranked on the opposite end of the spectrum at number five.
