Boulder ‘Shark Tank’ Event Awards 3 Colorado ‘Up & Comers’ You Need to Know

In late February of 2023, Naturally Boulder held its 18th annual "Pitch Slam & Innovation Showcase. Companies from Colorado that are natural and organic focused compete to be named "Most Up and Coming" for the year.

The 2023 event saw about a half-dozen Colorado companies take to the stage to make their pitches in front of a panel of judges. Three companies walked away with awards that will help those them growing in the right direction. Check them out.

At the 2023 event, the first place prize also took home the "People's Choice" award, so you know that this company is definitely on its way to being a "player." The four-person panel questioned the companies, like on "Shark Tank," before making their final decision on the top three.

THIRD PLACE AT THE BOULDER 'PITCH SLAM & INNOVATION' EVENT

• HOOCH BOOCH

Hooch Booch makes "hard' kombucha, using tea from Longmont and fruit from Evans. They currently have five flavors, including an Old Fashioned-inspired one and one inspired by martinis.

The founder and creator of Terraseed, based out of Boulder, found that once she turned to veganism, she wasn't getting enough nutritional elements. Where "necessity breeds invention," she crated this multivitamin for vegans. Furthermore, the packaging is 100% biodegradable.
