Western Colorado High School Football Schedule for Week of October 17-19

High school football in Colorado is entering Week 8, and all the teams are preparing for postseason play that begins in a couple weeks.

This week’s games include a local rivalry playing out on Friday, and a couple more Western Colorado teams hoping to solidify their standings prior to postseason play.

On Friday, the Palisade Bulldogs will take on local rival Central Warriors in a matchup at Stocker Stadium. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m., and ESPN Radio 1230 will broadcast that game beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Both Delta and Montrose are on the road this weekend, with Delta traveling to Eagle Valley and Montrose at Falcon. Both games are at 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Fruita Monument and Grand Junction will have Saturday games this weekend. Fruita Monument will host Rock Canyon at Stocker Stadium, with the game slated to start at 1:00 p.m. Grand Junction is on the road, traveling to Hinkley High School for a 5:00 p.m. game.
