Today, February 9, is National Pizza Day. Have you noticed the prices at many of Grand Junction's most popular pizza joints have gone up recently? With the recent price adjustments, where will you find GJ's most affordable pizza?

It's safe to assume the recent price hike has something if not everything to do with this year's minimum wage increase. Regardless, the pizza I paid $9 for on December 31, 2017, is now $11.50. Prices go up, but really.

I'm no fan of frozen pizzas, but let's face it, there's a universe of difference between $3.50 and $11.50. Okay, I'm cheap. We already knew that. Still, where can the average Joe find an affordable pizza?

Take n' bake pizzas are awesome, but it seems the price range separating take n' bake and ready-to-go pizzas have decreased drastically. The very nature of getting pizza involves the ease, speed, and affordability. People don't go after pizza for its nutritional value.

This isn't about finding Grand Junction "best" pizza. We've already done surveys for that. We're not looking for the one which doesn't obliterate a person's wallet.

For those on a budget, where will you find the best deal in town? Cast your vote. If you don't see your option, write it in. We'll add it to the list.
