The hottest team in the NBA has its hands full this evening. Golden State has won six straight and seven of 10 and tonight the Warriors are in Miami to face the 24-7 Heat. Miami, as is the case pretty much all the time, is riding a winning streak. The two-time defending league champs have won two straight and eight of their last 10 games.

LeBron James returned from a groin injury to score 26 points on his birthday, and the Miami Heat beat the skidding Denver Nuggets 97-94 Monday night despite losing Dwyane Wade and Norris Cole during the game.

LeBron James of the Miami Heat is The Associated Press' 2013 Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the third basketball player to capture the award in its 83-year history.
