Grand Junction hopes more than two million dollars in grant money from CDOT can help build a pedestrian bridge linking downtown to the Riverfront at Dos Rios.

Boy Scouts Troop 303 is operating a Christmas tree lot out front of the former Sutherland's near Mesa Mall. On Friday, their credit card machine went down without them knowing and almost $1500 in trees left the lot without the charges going through.
