Cameron Peak Fire

Following the fatal flash flood in the Poudre Canyon on Tuesday, cars and homes are among the debris washing up in the river.

PHOTOS: Cameron Peak Fire's flames were visible from I-25 on Friday night, as the fire grew in the Northern Colorado area.

The fire is 62% contained.

As ash rained down heavy once again on Northern Colorado, the Cameron Peak Fire was spreading throughout nearby terrain.

The fire forced mandatory evacuations of Red Feather Lakes, Crystal Lakes and Glacier View on Friday.

A red flag warning has been instituted. Wildfire smoke in surrounding areas is expected to be elevated on Friday.

The fire currently sits over 104,791 acres.

The fire was able to grow another 122 acres on Tuesday (Sept. 22) and now sits at 104,652 acres.

A Monday (Sept. 21) flight shows just how bad the "thumb" of the fire is still burning and smoking up.

The investigation is open but officials have previously theorized that the fire burning over 102,596 acres was human-caused.
