It's always pretty cool when famous people come to town.

Rob Schneider Comes To Town

Comedian and actor Rob Schneider is in Grand Junction this week doing comedy shows at Mesa Theater and found some time on Wednesday evening to relax at Moody's Lounge on Main Street. He will perform again in two sold-out shows Friday night.

I have to say, when I heard Rob Schneider was coming to Grand Junction I thought about getting tickets. I didn't, and now I'm living with a little bit of regret. I should have pulled the trigger on those tickets. I don't know what I was thinking.

Rob's Funny, Funny Movies

You may have seen Rob Schneider on Saturday Night Live years ago. It's highly unlikely that you have never seen at least one of his movies. The list is long - and I won't name them all - but some of my favorites are Home Alone 2, The Waterboy, 50 First Dates, and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

While Schneider had relatively small roles in some of my favorite comedies, he took center stage in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and it leaves me laughing every time I watch it.

When I saw Jimbo Simons post on Facebook about  Rob Schneider being at Moody's, I began to think about what I might ask the famous comedian if I ever got the chance to sit and chat with him for a while. So here are five questions I would ask Rob Schneider.

5 Questions I Would Ask Rob Schneider

  1. Rob, you're a funny guy. Are you just naturally funny or do you simply act that way when it's time to perform?
  2. What's the secret to making people laugh?
  3. What is your favorite movie you were in?
  4. Was there a particular movie you just hated doing?
  5. What would you be doing right now if you weren't in show business?

I suppose I should write these questions down and keep them in my pocket just in case I ever run into Rob and we get a chance to chat. I have a very short memory. Oh, wait, I just did write them down, so now I will always have them - just in case.
