Peyton Manning Retiring a Denver Bronco
Winning Super Bowl 50 was a walk off for Peyton Manning.
Manning is expected to make the announcement later this week with the news of his retirement, according to the Denver Post. With NFL off-season rules and regulations in place, Manning only had one month to decide what he was going to do.
The 39-year-old quarterback will be retiring as a Denver Bronco after playing for the NFL for 18 seasons. Manning became a Bronco in the 2012 season and proceeded to bring Denver four consecutive AFC West Titles. He held a 50-15 winning record with the Broncos in the games he started.
Manning also holds 21 NFL records, including most passing touchdowns in an NFL career with 539.
