Michael McFadden Will Have to Register as a Sex Offender
21st Judicial District Attorney Dan Rubinstein released a statement on Facebook that Michael McFadden will have to register as a sex offender.
After finding a legal loophole, Michael McFadden was released from a 300-year prison sentence after his chargers were overturned from a 2015 conviction. He was once charged with sexually abusing dozens of children.
The initial overturn of his charges state he wouldn't have to register as a sex offender. Which lead the community to fear for their children's safety.
After working with the Grand Junction Police Department, District Attorney Dan Rubinstein found McFadden would have to register for charges that date back to 1990.
Rubinstein released this statement on Facebook yesterday (March 1):
