McNay Fire Update: All Roads Reopened, 77% Contained
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday morning that the McNay fire near Red Feather Lakes did not grow overnight.
The fire was 77 percent contained as of 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Ground crews will work to get the fire to 100 percent contained — no more air resources are scheduled to be used.
All of the roads in the area have reopened.
Smoke is still expected to be seen throughout the day as small pockets of green fuel are burning in the interior of the fire.
The incident was reportedly started by a car fire.
