It is said that we never stop learning in life. Do you want to learn a new skill? Tap that untapped creativity you don't know you have yet? Learn a new hobby or just how to do new things in 2017. The Community Education Center has just what you are looking for.

If you haven't heard of the Community Education Center, it is a part of the Western Slope Community College in the Foresight Circle Industrial Park near the corner of Patterson and 25 Road. The WCCC became a part of Colorado Mesa University a few years ago.

They offer many continuing education classes and non-credit programs for personal enrichment. Some of the programs meet over several weeks and others are just one session. Subjects range from beekeeping to public speaking, small business practices to health and nutrition, even baking or learning how to play an instrument.

You can find out all they have to offer you at their website, by calling 970-255-2800 or by stopping by at 2508 Blichman Avenue, Building B and picking up one of their course catalogs. Classes start as early as January 16, 2017 through June 2017 depending what interests you the most.

The WCCC Community Education Center has more to offer than you might imagine and it is never too late to learn something new to make life more interesting and satisfying.
