Like many other major events across the globe, Lakeside Amusement Park's annual Summer Scream event came to a screeching halt two years ago due to the ongoing pandemic.

But after the long hiatus, the fun-filled event is back on track to happen this year. On the evening of Thursday, August 25, 2022, the iconic Colorado amusement park located at 4601 Sheridan Boulevard will be hosting a nonprofit fundraiser in support of Denver Film.

Once the kids have left the park grounds for the day, it's time for adults to get a chance to play. From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. guests over the age of 21 have the opportunity to run wild in the amusement park.

Summer Scream features unlimited rides, creative performances, and multiple open bars all night long. DJ Bella Scratch will be providing live music and there will also be a one-time immersive experience that looks back at Lakeside’s intriguing history. Artifacts that haven't been seen in decades will be pulled out from the archives, giving visitors a glimpse at how the theme park used to look when it first opened back in 1908 as well as rekindling childhood memories of the beloved Denver destination.

Tickets for Summer Scream start at $45 and a 4-ticket package is also available. Admission prices increase after July 17 and the event typically sells out pretty quickly.
