Eagles tackle Jason Peters said he plans to try and play one more year and go for a Super Bowl ring. Peters, who turns 39 on Friday, acknowledged that its likely he will not be back in Philadelphia.

Telling Philadelphia TV Station 6 ABC:

“I’m gonna play one more year, try to get me another ring. Probably won’t be in Philly, unfortunate but try to chose a team and get another ring”

It was a rough year for Peters, who was signed to fill the void at right guard when the team lost Brandon Brooks for the season.  However an injury to starting left tackle, Andre Dillard, moved Peters back to his customary left tackle position.

Like recent seasons for Peters, this year was marred by injuries. His season came to an end after surgery on his injured toe.
