It's Happened Before In Grand Junction
Do you recall two years ago when Mad Margaret's at 807 N 1st Street in Grand Junction announced they would be closing right after Halloween? They planned to close the business and liquidate everything: the inventory, furnishings, cash registers, even Mr. Margaret if he stood still too long. Well, that was the plan, anyway.
Word hit the street Mad Margaret's would be closing, and the news found its way to the right set of ears. An interested party got the message and stepped in with an offer to purchase the business. The rest is Grand Junction history.
Farewell to Grand Junction's famous 7th Street Deli. Then again, with its superb location on 7th Street, right in the middle of the medical district, someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a little capital may opt to intervene.
