Look in the sky, it's already on its way. According to the National Weather Service, the storm is already moving west out of Utah and should start impacting the mountains moving through Friday, March 13 at noon.

The biggest impact will be in the southwest San Juan Mountains affecting Telluride, and the surrounding areas. Great news for the powder hounds. We're talking 8 to 14 inches of phreshies.

The Grand Mesa near Grand Junction, Colo. could also see some decent snow levels for the adventurous looking to get those last few turns in before winter sports are put on hiatus.

Should Western Coloradans Be Concerned with Other Winter Weather?

Besides snow impacting travel and making some of the higher country highways greasy, there's potential for high winds.

High elevations could see wind gusts of 50 MPH or more. Hold onto your hats, it's gonna get blowy.

In the valleys, we could see gusts from 35 to 45 MPH. We hope your trampolines are tied down unless you want to donate them to your neighbor.

Obviously, it's Colorado and all of this could happen or none of it. This could also be the last winter storm, or we could see a few more through June. If there's one thing that's guaranteed, it's Colorado's weather is ever-changing.
