Western Colorado's Plateau Valley Heritage Days and the CPRA Rodeo in Collbran is one of the most popular weekends all year on the world's largest flattop mountain. We're taking a closer look at 2024's events below, along with info on how you can get your tickets.

Plateau Valley Heritage Days

The very first rodeo in the Plateau Valley took place at Harrison Creek in 1922. You can find some classic photos of the event that started it all online at pvheritagedays.com. In 2024, the fun takes place at the Collbran Rodeo Grounds at 2073 58 6/10 Rd.

Events that bring in the Western Colorado crowds to Collbran for Plateau Valley Heritage Days include three days of fun beginning on July 2nd.

July 2nd: Locals Only Calcutta featuring games on horses and sorting at 6 PM.

July 3rd: Running of the Horses @ 4 PM on Main Street. CPRA Rodeo events at 7 PM followed by the Street Dance on Main Street at 9 PM.

July 4th: Fireman's Pancake Breakfast at 7 AM. Cowboy Church at 8 AM. Plateau Valley Heritage Days History at the Collbran Locker. Collbran 4th of July Parade at 10 AM, American Legion Fish Fry at 11 AM, Junior Rough Stock at the Arena at 1 PM, Running of the Horses at 4 PM, and Rodeo Events at 7 PM.

CPRA Rodeo Tickets

Tickets can be purchased at pvheritagedays.com/cpra-rodeo. Tickets for adults are $12, Youth ages 6 to 12 $10, and kids 5 and under can get in for free.
