It's another great American tale taking place in Downtown Loveland, as what was once a dream, became a food truck, then a pop up, and then became a full-fledged restaurant.

They've taken over a spot that was for a long time a martini bar and turned it into a great little cafe, serving up delicious breakfasts and lunches.

It's a great spot to meet for coffee, as well; it's really going to help bring life to this part of Downtown.

Mexican Cafe Opens in Downtown Loveland, Colorado

For a few years in Loveland, there was word of a food truck with great breakfast burritos and more; then we were able to catch them inside Downtown Loveland's popular Cactus Grill.

The Egg Kings opened for business in mid-October of 2024 at 127 West Fourth Street, basically right across from Loveland Aleworks. Having grown up in Loveland and now living in Downtown Loveland, I can tell you that this place will do well there.

Things are really starting to take shape on the north side of Fourth Street, west of the railroad tracks, and a nice little cafe is going to be very popular. They say, "timing is everything," and "location, location, location," both seem to fit in this situation.

I stopped in within their first two weeks of being open; the place is bright, with plenty of seating (including a patio,) and the food was great. I saw two parties come in just to meet for coffee; it's going to be a busy place, I can feel it.
