Coloradans that live near one 10+ Trader Joe's locations in the state can consider themselves lucky, as there are a lot of folks who'd love to have one in their town.

There's something oddly satisfying about getting into a Trader Joe's and shopping for those unique items that they have, not even counting that inexpensive Charles Shaw wine.

8 Recommended Items to Get at Colorado Trader Joe's

I didn't venture into a Trader Joe's until I was dating a girl who lived near one in Denver. We'd hit them up once a month, getting that wine and some Trader Joe's food items that we enjoyed. It's hard to say if we would have gotten things off a "recommended" list, but we didn't have one at the time.

Trader Joe's opened its Fort Collins location, at The Square, in March of 2015, taking the spot that was once Corral West Westernwear.

As of the spring of 2025 there are about a dozen Trader Joe's in Colorado, from Colorado Springs up to Fort Collins. There aren't any Trader Joe's on the Western Slope; they must be pretty frustrated.

One of their 10 suggested items is no longer carried at Trader Joe's: The Chile Lime Chicken Burgers. They sound good, too bad I never picked some up.
