As we close out 2024, it's a good news/bad news type of scenario for one special Northern Colorado breakfast spot that many have come to love and visit over and over and over again in the heart of Longmont.

The good news is that the restaurant - while temporarily closed - isn't closing forever. The bad news is if you like its current location, you may not love where it's moving to.

But it's good news/good news if you don't live in Longmont and would like to check it out, because Maggi's Kitchen is moving to Mead, closer to I-25 and worth the travel time from the other Northern Colorado cities.

They announced on their Facebook page the other day that indeed, they would be closing down after service on December 29. They haven't yet told people officially where their new location will be or when they will be opening, but that they should be disclosing those details in the next couple weeks.

Their old location was a bit on the smaller side, but always a very popular place for people to stop in for breakfast with their family with some homecooked breakfast and lunch. They've historically been open 6 AM to 2 PM every day, but we'll see if their hours change once they move to their new location.

This Hidden Colorado Breakfast Spot Is One Of The Best Around

My friends, let me introduce you to one of our new favorite restaurants for breakfast in all of Colorado, Maggi's Kitchen. It's a quiet locally owned and run cafe in Longmont, Colorado, just west of I-25 and Hwy 119. Open daily from 6 am until 2 pm, they specialize in some of the best homestyle breakfast and lunch in the state. Plus, they're super adorable!
