Nobody likes getting into an accident, whether a car accident or motorcycle accident, but when you find out the other person is uninsured it can be infuriating. Here you were, minding your own business, with coverage, and you got hit by someone without.

According to MoneyGeek.com, the average cost for full coverage in Colorado is $1,430 per year, while minimum liability is $624 per year.

Ask just about anybody who lives in Colorado and they'll tell you "it's too expensive;" that probably goes double for those that have moved out of the state. On the list of things that are pricey in Colorado is getting your car insured.

One of the reasons car insurance is high in Colorado is because of the number of uninured drivers that are out on Colorado roads. The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) states that more than 17% of drivers in the state are not insured. Therefore, those that do have coverage pay more.to make up for that.
