We all have experienced road rage in some form. Either you have yelled at someone for cutting you off, shown them a certain hand gesture, or perhaps someone has yelled at you or shown you that certain gesture. Driving in Colorado, it can be tough not to get frustrated from time to time. When driving around, someone will likely cut you off, run a red light, follow you closely, or hit their brakes for no reason. When these things occur, you may get upset behind the wheel. When it comes to road rage in America, how bad is it in Colorado compared to other states, and what are people doing to express their rage?

No matter what state you live in, no matter if you live in a city, a small town, or the middle of nowhere, someone will likely upset you in life at some point with their lack of driving skills. Lemonlawexperts.com recently took a poll about road rage and discovered which states have the worst in America. According to the study, Colorado's neighbor to the east, Nebraska, is the worst state for road rage, with Mississippi being second, and Arkansas rounding out the top three. The state with the least road rage is New Mexico, followed by Nevada and Louisiana, rounding out the bottom three. When it comes to road rage, though, where does Colorado rank?

It may come as a surprise to find out that road rage isn't all that bad in Colorado compared to other places, ranking in the calmer area as the state is 28th in the survey. When it comes to road rage, drivers admitted to getting it, and the number one expression they choose is facial expressions, followed by yelling, and the third most popular choice is rude gestures, which is easy to figure out what those are. When it comes to road rage that is witnessed, the most common acts are tailgating, followed by cutting someone off, and once again, rude gestures, which are both an expression and lead to road rage as well.
