The Best Dang Reading Spots In Northern Colorado

I'm a big-time reader. And I'll read any genre. And my oh my, this is the perfect time of year to grab a book and sit in the sunshine for a little reading time.

Here are just some of my favorite places to sit and read in Northern Colorado.

The Old Town Library

I've been visiting this charming library in the heart of downtown Fort Collins for years and years. Sitting on almost five acres of land, bring a blanket and pack a lunch because there are plenty of sitting areas, and most of them are under giant old trees. It's heaven.

The Muse

Located in Loveland, this might be the coziest coffee shop I've ever been to. I'm not even kidding. If you give me comfortable seating and lots of natural light, I'll give you 4 hours of my life reading and rotting.

They also have a great selection of coffee and tea and an array of pastries to snack on while you read 50 Shades of Grey for the 12th time.

Timnath Community Park

Doesn't reading a good book overlooking a quaint pond sound good? You can do just that at The Timnath Community Park. This park also has an amazing view of the mountains, and while there aren't many trees, there is a lot of heart.

Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant

While I'm a fan of the Greeley Rio location, if you want the perfect outdoor reading spot, the Rio in Fort Collins can't be beat. There's a water fountain, ample seating, and margaritas. Because everything is better when you're a little liquored up. AMIRIGHT?
