A Missouri-based grocery store chain will be opening its first Colorado location soon in Johnstown. The grocery store is located in the Ledge Rock Center on Highway 60 just east of Buc-ee's.

As a Johnstown resident, I am excited to see what the new Woods Supermarket will look like. I have driven past the building nearly every day for what feels like years in anticipation of the opening. Soon, we will get the chance to see what Woods Supermarket will offer Northern Colorado.

Before Woods Supermarket opens officially in Johnstown, people need to be hired to run the grocery store. Woods Supermarket has announced it will be conducting a hiring event in December ahead of the grocery store's opening in early 2025.

Woods Supermarket is looking to build a team of individuals who have a passion for hospitality and a fulfilling career. These are the current positions that Woods Supermarket is hiring for the Johnstown location:

  • Bakery Teammate
  • Deli Teammate
  • Carry Out
  • Cashier
  • Center Store Teammate
  • Liquor Teammate
  • Meat Teammate
  • Produce Teammate

These positions are currently posted at woodsupermarket.com, however, the hiring event will happen December 11 through 14 at the Embassy Suites located at 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland. Hours of the hiring event are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The Johnstown, Colorado location for Woods Supermarket will be the first grocery store location outside of Missouri. The addition of Woods Supermarket in Northern Colorado is a welcome sight to see for many in the Johnstown area as it will mean more options for grocery stores in the town.
