Two things about me that you may not know... because why would you? First, I love scary things. Scary movies, haunted houses, my ex-mother-in-law.

Spooky.

Second, I hate being cold. To me, it's just the worst. When I'm outside in the cold, I want to scream and possibly slap someone.

Sadly, all of the spooky haunted houses and corn mazes don't go into full swing until there's a nip in the air and it hurts to breathe outside.

That's why I've made a list of fun Halloween activities to cram in before the cold slaps us in the face.

Spooky activities happening now

  • The Find Your Fright Haunted House in Loveland is opening in just a few days. Starting this Friday the 9th, you can walk through a haunted house some are calling the scariest there ever was.
  • Starting October 16th, you can walk through a spooky forest at the Creepy Walk in the Woods event in Loveland, where scary things pop out at you, and spooky cast members follow you around, trying to scare you until you cry. Buy your tickets today!
  • Here's one that I've actually done and loved. Fort Collins Haunted Tours takes you underground, and boy, is it creepy. No cast members or jump scares. The tour takes you to actual haunted locations in Old Town Fort Collins. A fully immersive experience: you visit spooky locations while a guide explains why they're haunted.

So open your wallet and buy a ticket to an activity you'll regret the minute you set foot in the terrifying attraction.

Happy Halloween.
