Popular Colorado Barbecue Spot Plans to Open a Timnath Location

I do not know a single person who doesn't love a good barbecue restaurant. While Colorado isn't known as a popular barbecue spot on the map, there are some great places you've probably never even heard of.

Take GQue, for instance. Unless you go to a ball game at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium or Folsom Field in Boulder, you've probably missed out on the amazing food that GQue offers.

GQue is Colorado's only championship BBQ restaurant, and soon, they could be expanding into Northern Colorado. According to the Coloradoan, GQue has filed a conceptual review for a location in Timnath. The location would be next to the planned Timnath In-N-Out and Floor & Decor in the Ladera area.

The initial plans for the Timnath location of GQue show a 4,000-square-foot restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a patio, and a drive-thru. I, for one, am excited to see a great brick-and-mortar location in Northern Colorado.

GQue currently has five locations in the state of Colorado. Those locations include:

• Empower Field at Mile High
• Folsom Field in Boulder
• Westminster
• Lakewood
• Lone Tree
