There is a wide spectrum when it comes to mental illness and many of us in Colorado struggle with it. Recently we discovered that Coloradans struggle with mental health more than other states. A big reason why is that there are simply not enough resources out there to help.

Mental health programs are growing all across the country and Colorado is growing as well.

Mental health is becoming more of a priority for us in Colorado and here is the mental health illness that we are the most curious about.

Mental Illness That Coloradans Want to Know More

Manhattan Mental Health Counseling took a look at the 22 most common mental health disorders and analyzed Google trends data to pinpoint which regions are the most interested in certain mental health disorders.

Manhattan Mental Health Counseling analyzed search data from each state, tallying the total number of searches for various mental health issues to identify which concern was searched the most in each state.

Manhattan Mental Health Counseling discovered that Coloradans are the most curious about Alzheimer's, while most other states researched ADHD, anxiety, depression, and addiction.

We share the same curiosity about Alzheimer's with two other states. The data shows that many Coloradans are concerned about their mental state and are using Google to search and see if they have any common Alzheimer's symptoms.

The most common Alzheimer's symptoms include memory loss, impaired reasoning, and getting lost.

Alzheimer's has been an issue in Colorado for quite some time. According to the Alzheimer's Association, 91,000 people are currently living with it in Colorado. If you have ever had a loved one experience it, you know how difficult and heartbreaking it can be.
