On Saturday (Jan. 21), nearly a thousand assembled in downtown Grand Junction to participate in the Women's March.

The march was organized to show support for women, as well as civil rights for all. What began as a Women's March on Washington, turned into a nationwide effort bring out women, men, and children.

To show their support, marchers came out with signs and t-shirts with anti-Trump slogans, civil right slogans and more.

Grand Junction's march was peaceful, however, a few marches around the nation did turn violent.

Here are a few photos from Saturday's march in downtown Grand Junction. A word of caution, some signs may be offensive.
