Grand Junction Pet Lovers Heading to the Animal Care Fair

One thing for certain about pet lovers is we love our pets. Pet lovers can celebrate their pet this weekend at the Animal Care Fair in Grand Junction. 

Vendors, seminars, and a vaccination clinic will highlight this free pet event.

If you are puzzled by the behavior of your dog, you could possibly find out what's going with him. "Why Does My Dog Do That" is just one of the seminars presented this Saturday (September 17) at the Animal Care Fair, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Church of the Nativity, 2175 Broadway in Grand Junction.

Other sessions at the Animal Care Fair include information about pet trusts, therapy dogs, wild horses, compassionate eating, and Mesa County Animal Services.

This is a great opportunity for pet owners and animal lovers to connect with a large number of animal welfare organizations and businesses in the Grand Valley. More than 30 have signed up to attend.

A low-cost vaccination clinic for dogs is being held from 11AM-1PM at a cost of $5 per vaccine. Micro-chipping is also available for $20, and there will be pet adoptions.

They also have some fun activities for kids including a scavenger hunt, and there will be food vendors on hand.

Spay and neuter services will not be provided at this event, however, there will be information about low- cost spay and neuter services that are available in Grand Junction.

Admission to the Animal Care Fair is free so come on out.
