It seems like it's all too often that you find a band that you really love, you get really into them, listen to their albums constantly, buy their merchandise, and wear it proudly, then all of the sudden they release something or do something offstage that really sours your impression of them.

A band's music that we really get into can often become a part of us, attach itself to memories, and cheer us up on a gloomy day, and that can be taken away in one fell swoop.

However, some bands just have a way of being so consistently great that they remain in our hearts for the long run, and that is a really special thing.

Curious, I posted a question on Facebook asking Grand Junction residents what bands never let them down, and here's what you said.

One reason that a band never lets you down is simply consistency. Bands like AC/DC and Slayer have, for the most part, kept their sound consistent throughout their entire careers so it's not surprising that they were mentioned as two of the bands that never let you down.

Other bands that were mentioned numerous times by Grand Junction residents as never letting them down include 10 Years, Adelitas Way, The Eagles, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Metallica, Sevendust, and Shinedown, to name a few.

Of course, given the verbiage of the question, a couple of responders mentioned Rick Astley which, if you're familiar with the lyrics to his most famous song, you already know why.
