Grand Junction a Stop on the United States Navy Concert Band Tour

Grand Junction has been selected as one of 21 cities in the US who will host the United States Navy Concert Band 2018 tour.

The US Navy Concert Band will feature a wide selection of music including marches, patriotic favorites, plus traditional and modern orchestra music. The wide variety of music is designed to entertain an equally wide audience making the show family-friendly.

The Navy Concert Band has been performing for almost 90 years and the tour stops are chosen so the band can entertain fans who don't live in an area where they can attend the band's concerts on a regular basis.

The concert is free and is being held at the Grand Junction High School auditorium on Wednesday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. While the concert is free, tickets are required for admission and can be obtained at the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel or by calling 970-256-4384.
