Late last month an Eaton Middle School Teacher found a transgender student in the girls restroom.

The Colorado Citizen Express reports that the school did not inform parents.

Parents did not know that the transgender student used the same restroom and locker rooms as the girls.

There was a Eaton RE-2 School Board of Education meeting October 14th, parents expected answers.

Because of the “bathroom law” of 2008 transgender students can choose the bathroom of their preferred gender.

The Colorado Citizen Express reports that under Colorado law, schools are not allowed to notify parents when a transgender student comes forward.
