Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested After Face-Planting on the Pavement
Call it karma or just dumb luck, but a domestic violence suspect fleeing from Grand Junction Police Officers got to feel the pain after tripping, falling and face-planting on the concrete.
On Thursday (September 29), Grand Junction Police Officers were attempting to talk to 33-year-old Charles VanLandingham when he kicked one of the officers and started to run away. His escape was suddenly cut short when he tripped and came face-to-face with the concrete.
Following treatment at the hospital, VanLandingham was taken to jail and now faces second and third degree assault, harassment, resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer, domestic violence, violation of a restraining order, and driving with a revoked license.
If VanLandingham is found guilty and his bad karma continues, it is possible the judge will throw the book at him clobbering him in the process.
