Dog the Bounty Hunter Sells Famous Colorado Mansion for Nearly $1.6 Million
Between former presidents, sports standouts, and A-list actors, many celebrities have called Colorado home. Until recently, one of those stars was Duane "Dog" Chapman.
Better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, Chapman is a Denver native who previously lived in a stunning Castle Rock mansion that he featured on his various TV shows.
Now, TMZ reports Chapman has sold the home — which he shared with wife Francie and late wife Beth — for nearly $1.6 million.
According to Zillow, the residence, located at 1440 Colt Circle, boasts six bedrooms, five bathrooms (including a remodeled master), a finished basement, refinished hardwood floors, new granite countertops, an updated kitchen, and vaulted ceilings.
At 6,200 square feet, the property also features multiple fireplaces, a wet bar, jetted bathroom tubs, a hot tub, a spiral staircase, a getaway loft, a movie theater, walk-in closets, and walk-in showers.
Outside, the house offers a covered patio, access to equestrian trails, and an "expansive" deck perfect for showcasing Castle Rock's colorful sunsets.
So, where is Dog the Bounty Hunter now? Per Taste of Country Nights, the star is currently living in Florida, but he likely won't forget his Colorado castle — he had lived in the home since 2009 after purchasing it for $750,000.
