Darth Vader and the Punisher are Coming to Colorado this Summer

We've entered the real 'holiday season' for Colorado nerds, as summer is now synonymous with both blockbuster movies ripped from the pages of your favorite childhood funny books, as well as the annual conventions that draw fans from around the world to promote those very same things. Summer is convention season, and Colorado is no exception.

Running June 30th through July 2nd, FAN EXPO Denver is the premiere Colorado convention for celebrating all the things that would have gotten you wedgies in high school 30 years ago. This year's event boasts a pretty heavy-hitting list of celebrity guests, including some of the most iconic 'Anti-Heroes' in Disney's ridiculously large roster of characters: Darth Vader and the Punisher.

Hayden Christensen, best known for portraying the elder version of Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel films, will be an honored guest in Denver this summer, along with the actor responsible for the best on-screen portrayal of Marvel's angriest man: Jon Bernthal.

If you're in your mid-thirties, like me, the rest of the guest list would make your inner 12-year-old's head explode, too: featuring the likes of Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), just to name a few.

FAN EXPO Denver

If you're not familiar with the FAN EXPO Denver, it is the biggest fan convention in Colorado. Every Summer Denver is the site of one of the best parts about being a fan: people from around the world come together to share their love of all things pop culture. Celebrity guests and sneak peeks at things to come are just icing on the cake.
