CSU Football: Steve Addazio Era Begins Thursday at Fresno State
Steve Addazio will take the sidelines for the first time as Colorado State University head coach on Thursday. Probably.
The Rams have seen their season delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. CSU was then supposed to finally kick off a shortened season last week but had their game with New Mexico canceled because of an outbreak on the Lobos team.
After failing to find a last-minute opponent replacement, Addazio and the Rams will finally kickoff the 2020 season at 8 p.m. on Thursday against Fresno State.
Addazio is 57-55 in his career as a head coach for Temple and Boston College. He takes over the Rams that went 4-8 last season under former coach Mike Bobo.
Addazio has posted winning seasons during both years that he took over a new program.
