I'm a Colorado kid. Born and raised in the Denver Colorado area, but we spent quite a bit of time all over various parts of Colorado. My dad raised my younger brother and I on his own and he had a way of always finding fun adventures for us to do to keep us entertained and out of trouble. Thinking back, the amount of fun stuff he was able to do with us on basically no money is quite remarkable. I'm incredibly thankful for him and those efforts as he raised us both. One place, in particular, had one of the biggest go-kart tracks and the sweetest mini-gold course I can remember as a kid. Sadly, that place, like many places from my childhood, had closed down years ago. I'm happy to tell you though, that it's back in 2023, and it's better than ever!

Located on Highway 85 in Evans, Colorado, the newly branded Rush Events Center & Amusement Park is back and ready to entertain an entirely new generation of families for years to come. A local couple, Ron and Cindy Harper, watched what was once a Northern Colorado staple sit abandoned for over a decade and decided to do something about it, and bought the old property. They have worked countless hours since that time to restore it to its glory days, and wow, did they ever. Bigger and Better is a complete understatement.
