Canadiens Look to Advance

Montreal can finish off Tampa Bay in first-round Stanley Cup playoff action tonight. The Canadiens won the first three games of the best-of-seven series by scores of 5-4, 4-1 and 3-2. This evening's game is being played on the Canadiens home-ice. If the Lightning were to win tonight's game, the fifth game would be played Thursday in Tampa.

San Jose's Sharks can take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Kings with a victory tonight in Los Angeles. The Sharks have won by scores of 6-3 and 7-2. Whatever the outcome of tonight's game, the fourth game will take place Thursday once again on the Kings' ice.

The remaining two games tonight are being played in Detroit and Philadelphia. The Red Wings are facing the Bruins in Game 3 of that series, which is tied at one win apiece. In Philly the Flyers are hosting the Rangers with the series knotted up at 1-1 as well.
