The man pictured entered a Walmart store, grabbed a 50-inch Vizio 4K TV, and made a quick exit through an emergency door in the back of the store to a waiting getaway car.

A store employee who witnessed the theft attempted to follow the thief but was met by a .45 caliber handgun the getaway car driver was pointing at him. For his protection, the employee retreated back into the store.

The theft happened on October 23, 2016, at about 1:40 a.m at the Walmart store 2545 Rimrock Avenue in Grand Junction.

Security photos show the thief is a white male wearing jeans, a red and black cap and a gray hoodie with 'XD Series' on the front and back.

Because he was wearing a black mask, a description of the getaway driver is unknown. The vehicle used in the crime is a black 4-door sedan.
