$2.4 Million Happy Heart Farm in Fort Collins Will Bring Smiles [Photos]
Not far from Elizabeth and Overland Trail in Fort Collins sits this wonderful farm that also acts as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm.
I did not know what a CSA farm was before working on this article. It does sound great: Folks buy shares in a farm's harvest in advance. They can be both profitable for the farmer as well as beneficial for the CSA members. I'm sure co-worker Kama knows much more about these.
Happy Heart Farm was the very first CSA in Colorado and is on the market for $2.4 million with fantastic views, three points of entry, and comes with northernmost 8.21 acres of 2820 W Elizabeth and a 1/2 Pleasant Valley water share, a 1" water tap, hoop house, and more.
To me, Happy Heart Farm has that 'getting away from it all' feel while still being in Fort Collins. This part of town is very cool. 'Laid back' is the term that comes to mind.
The property is LMN zoned (low-density mixed-use,) which will allow for multi-family development if you so choose.
Being Colorado's first CSA, you'd own a piece of history; plus it looks like there are a ton of 'great 'vibes' with the whole endeavor. There's no question, we could all use some 'great vibes' these days.
